About Green Wagon Media
I’m Noelle Hartt, a conversion copywriter and brand voice specialist for DTC, CPG, B2B, and pet brands. I’ve been writing copy for 12 years, first at agencies running paid search and digital campaigns, then on my own since 2018.
Green Wagon Media is the studio I built to do the work I’m best at: writing copy that does its job. Landing pages have to convert. Emails have to earn a click. Ads have to justify their spend. Website pages have to rank, read well, and follow through on advertising messaging.
How I got here
I started in search engine marketing at Driven Local, fresh out of college, where I managed over 100 campaigns for small and medium-sized businesses. From there, I moved to the paid search team at iProspect, writing and optimizing ads for Ann Taylor, LOFT, and Lou & Grey. Agency life taught me something that still shapes how I work today: copy that doesn’t perform doesn’t survive, and you can find out pretty fast which messaging is and isn’t worth keeping.
Since starting Green Wagon Media, I’ve had the pleasure of writing for Baylor Scott & White Health, Wayfair Professional, TIAA, ClassPass, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day, Avenova, SHI International, Natural Balance Pet Food, and the American Public University System.
How I work
I ask a lot of questions before I write anything. What does the copy need to do? Who’s reading it? Are they familiar with the brand and its products? What’s been tried before? What’s worked and what hasn’t? What constraints do we need to keep in mind? Are there industry regulations to consider? What are the brand voice guidelines? Media restrictions? Character limits? So on and so forth.
That front-loaded legwork is exactly why my first drafts land so close to the final deliverable. I’d rather spend an extra hour on the brief than three rounds guessing at what you meant—and I’m sure you would, too.
I’ve also never found a constraint I couldn’t work with. Whether we’re talking about strict regulations, stringent brand voice guidelines, or even tight character counts, I always welcome a good challenge.
Where I am
Plainfield, Indiana. Eastern time. I work remotely with clients anywhere in the U.S.
Who I work best with
Marketing leads and brand teams who know what they need the copy to do. I’m a good fit when the work is conversion-focused and the stakes are real: a launch, a redesign, a campaign that has to perform.
